Description: Tan-brown pottery bowl having three integral standing human figures supporting the bowl on top of their heads. The figures hold their hands in three different positions, and are standing on a square integral base. One figure missing his breast, and one base corner reattached, one elbow chipped, and a minor stable hair line in the rim, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A rare type.
Provenance: Estate of William G. Butler, NYC, acquired Harmer Rooke Gallery, NYC, February 11, 1978. Original Harmer Rooke certificate accompanying.
