Description: |
Cast bronze openwork rectangular plaque depicting two men wrestling or embracing in a wooded scene, their horses standing behind them. Overall greenish-black surface patina. Perforated at one end for attachment. Clean repaired break down the center, with a partially visible breakline, otherwise intact. A rare and beautiful example. |
