Description: |
Salmon color pottery box type vessel, polychrome painted decoration on four sides depicting a striding lion, surrounded with various geometric decoration. Top of box has a large center opening surrounded with polychrome geometric decoration. Scattered areas of surface encrustation. A large corner section reattached, otherwise intact. A very scarce example. |
