Complete terracotta cone or "nail" used to dedicate a newly constructed or restored building, originally embedded in the wall or foundation. Upper half of the cone is inscribed with cuneiform script with one panel extending almost to the tip. A second panel probably extended that far but is chipped, else xc. cond. Untranslated. |
