Fine and large knapped deep gray eccentric flint depicting a Maya god wearing a large and fancy headdress, and a rear black splash depicting the head of a deity wearing a headdress. Some overall scattered surface deposits. Repaired from three large original pieces with some restoration along two of the break lines, front tip of rear deity’s headdress feather and front edge of rear deity’s lower face are restored. Custom base. An impressive example. |
