Two different orangeware terracotta oil lamps, including a Roman-Byzantine example decorated with a large petaled flower element, red-brown slip glaze on the upper portion. Intact, exc. cond. Together with a Roman oil lamp decorated in relief with two rearing horses and a rider. Overall surface weathering with areas of encrustation, otherwise intact. |
