Description: |
Ancestor figure having well-carved fine detail. Male stands upon dome integral base, with slender arms separated from sides, baring phallus, and adorned with arm bands, ankle bands and belt with relief zigzags. The heart shaped face has long extended beak connected to the chest and notched beard outlines lower half of tapered face. Above a tall pyramidal headdress is intricately carved with triangular niches, tapered spikes, spherical finial, and a face on rear. Covered with red pigment. Minor age crack, nick on headdress.
