Fine mask of oval hollowed form has large circular eyeholes framed by white metal sheet rings, beneath curved brow and high rounded forehead. Triangular relief nose with rounded sides above diamond shaped open lips. A threaded field repair is along cheek, and rim is perforated for attachment along with second row around chin possibly for beard detail. Traces of encrustation, minor age cracks, light loss and wear along rim. Blackened polished patina. Custom base. |
