Large slender zoomorphic mask, of deeply hollowed form wtih boldly tapered forehead leading to prominent vertical ridge nose perforated through center. High relief rounded ears extend from sides of forehead, rectangular inset eyes flank nose, and open angular mouth below with grooved teeth. Some wormhole surface damage, age cracks, losses to rim. Deep rich brown patina. |
