Interesting old ibeji from the Anago tribe, standing with arms separate at sides, hands bent and connected to hips, flanking carved skirt with semicircular grooved edge and low relief crossed bands in front. He bears rounded, bulging face having metal inlaid pupils, wide nose and lips, and hair in fine detail gathered in cross form with rectangular relief pins at end. Dark deep polished brown patina. |
