Description: |
A large rectangular pottery tablet incised on both sides with lines of intricate text; a list of sheep, lambs and goats, delivered to a shepherd for herding. The vertical wedges at the beginnings of the lines are numerals. On one side is written “The fourth day”. Two minor small surface losses, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A nice example. |
