Description: |
Both are cast bronze examples including an openwork rectangular plaque depicting two men wrestling in a wooded scene, their horses standing behind them. Overall greenish-black surface patina. Perforated at one end for attachment. Repaired break down the center, with partially visible breakline. Together with a cast bronze deer having very large, multi point antlers. Overall black surface patina with a few areas of red-brown oxidation. Intact, exc. cond. |
