| Description: |
Red-figure decorated pottery pelike having a low disc foot, centrally ribbed handles, and molding below the rim. Each side decorated with a chiton clad maiden, one walking to the left and holding a box in her left hand and juggling balls in her right hand, a klathos at her feet. The other side depicts a maiden walking to the right and holding a sash and wreath, flowering tree on the groundline. Two very minor shallow rim flakes on the foot, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. |
