| Description: |
Red-figure painted pottery handled cup on low ring foot, with two loop handles at the rim. Obverse decorated with a standing, draped female figure, holding a foliate branch and an alabastron. Reverse with a standing nude male holding a thyrsus and wreath, a single rosette in the field. A palmette under each handle and split palmettes to either side, with rosettes between tongue motifs below the rim. Intact, exc. cond. |
