Description: |
Hollow pottery matched pair of figures in red-brown with remains of painted slip highlights. Seated with raised knees, with hands, elbows and arms resting in various positions on knees. Both have open mouths, elaborate ear ornaments, nose rings, loincloths and headdresses. Heavily eroded surfaces, a few traces of paint. Female with reattached right leg, arm and bowl. Right leg repaired and reattached. |
