Description: |
A very large pottery jar having a tapered bulbous shaped body and flared rim. Tan ground with an overall painted red traditional geometric spiral and zig-zag pattern. A 5-1/2” stable hairline crack from the rim, having a hide string secured around the rim to reinforce the hairline, a small chip reattached in the rim, otherwise intact, exc. cond. Rare to find in this large size. |
