Tall, almost life-size sculpture of a shaman, seated on integral base with wide curving hips, semicircular feet, arms similarly curved upward with flat rectangular hands, small breasts between, and face with recessed eyes, mouth, and wedge nose. A small child appears in 3/4 relief upon torso with hands in prayer at chest. Weathered surface with deposits, some losses at side of torso, arm of child reattached. Custom base. |
