| Description: |
Long, slender staff of polished hardwood having a widened paddle like basal end and a small spear-form tip. One face of the staff is intricately carved with traditional Maori style geometric carvings and incised guilloche pattern. Spear tip also intricately carved with stylized faces on both sides, only one of four abalone inset eyes remains. Couple minor cracks, else intact. Nice. |
