Description: |
Carved salmon and gray color soft stone mask in stylized human face form having deeply carved ovoid eyes and mouth, long arched nose with drilled nostrils. Inset stone bead in the corner of each eye, beads missing from the corners of the mouth. Simple long lug type ears. Drilled perforation in each temple for attachment. A very minor flake on the ridge of the nose, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A nice example. Ill fitting custom metal base has left scars on the back of the mask. |
