Description: |
Large hollow pottery seated female figure having wide hips, splayed legs, and hands resting on waist. Elongated head with a finely incised hairdo. Large elaborate ear ornaments. Refined facial features with well balanced eyes and nose. Some remaining traces of black resist dot pattern on her legs and buttocks. Both legs and head reattached with restoration over the breaklines, overall light surface weathering, otherwise intact. |
