Description: |
Large hollow pottery seated female figure depicted with wide hips, leaning slightly forward with hands resting on her raised knees. Finely striated hairdo and wearing fan shape ear ornaments, incised decorated belt and necklace. Black striped resist body and facial decoration on a red-brown ground. Repaired from approximately six original pieces with restoration over the breaklines, a few small areas of resurfacing. |
