Description: |
Fine two-tone redware pottery seated hunchback figure, wearing an incised simple loincloth with relief tassels. Spout in the center of head, crescent shape side locks. Nicely rendered facial features. Scattered areas of root marks on the surface. Restored chip on right side lock and one restored toe on right foot, body repaired from approximately six original pieces with restoration over the breaklines. A sculpturally excellent example. |
