Redware pottery olla standing on four legs, depicted with opposing human faces on two sides, highlighted with black resist highlights. Both sides of the vessel decorated with an incised rectangular panel with black highlights. Strong scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Rim repaired from approximately four original pieces with restoration over the breaklines, three chips on the rims surrounding the faces, two stable restored hairlines in the vessels body. A scarce type. |
