Large pottery standing female figure holding a small bowl in her right hand. Wearing a headband, nose ring, elaborate ear ornaments, arm bands, necklace and knee length skirt. Painted white and ocher highlights and a striped skirt. Strong mineral deposits on the surface. Repaired from approximately twelve original pieces with restoration over most of the breaklines. Chip on the tip of right ear. A large and impressive example. |
