| Description: |
Fine and elegant massive mask of a female with expansive rounded face. Her hair is arranged in gradating rows of finely textured peaks, her face bears small semicircular eyes, arched brows, straight narrow nose and small open lips. Small scarification areas at sides of mouth and at temples, and small curved relief ears frame sides. Traces of red-brown pigment around eyes and mouth; medium brown dry patina. Repair along right side of hairline, right ear lost, minor insect hole damage, 3-1/2” loss to rim. Custom base. |
