Carved dark gray stone pendant depicting a stylized deity face, with very expressive facial features, having a thick down-turned upper lip and an incised flame between his eyes. Biconical drilled suspension hole in the center ridge of his forehead. Some ancient edge losses on the reverse, otherwise intact. A rare and beautiful example. |
