Carved black serpentine stone standing male figure depicted with an elongated head and strong carved, expressive facial features. Drilled perforated nostrils and ear lobes. Wearing a belt, tied in the front. Overall scattered areas of surface encrustation. Some minor ancient losses to the tips of legs and an ancient shallow chip on tip of left arm, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. Old custom metal base. An excellent example. |
