Solid orange-tan pottery seated figure, having a beautifully burnished surface. Seated with outstretched legs, right hand held to knee, left hand held to his stomach. Nicely sculpted, slightly elongated head, with center hair tuft, finely incised. A few remaining traces of red pigment highlights. Ancient chip on right foot, otherwise intact. A nice example. |
