Carved gray-green stone human face mask, having expressive facial features, ovoid carved and drilled recessed eyes, angular nose with flared nostrils, open mouth, strong browline, and drilled perforated ear lobes. Drilled on the rear edges for attachment. Excellent scattered mineral and surface deposits. Rear rim has an area of ancient loss and back edge of chin, otherwise intact. Custom lucite base. A beautiful quality example. |
