Carved grayish-cream hardstone ovoid, egg-shape figure, holding both hands on chest, legs crossed with feet crossed under buttocks. Carved striated hairdo, pulled into a rear bun. Well carved relief facial features. Intact, exc. cond. Having very “Cubist” sculptural form. A rare example. |
