Large orangeware hollow pottery standing female figure, holding hands on her waist, depicted with bulbous hips, wide narrow eyes and expressive facial features. Wearing a tall tapered headdress. Some remaining painted red-orange striped decoration. Overall scattered strong mineral deposits on the surface. Head reattached with restoration over the break lines, otherwise intact. A nice example. |
