Carved quartzite stone axe god type figure having a tapered head and wide angular jawline, simple carved facial features. Deep brown stained surface patina on his head and left shoulder, scattered root marks. Chip on chin and a few minor surface flakes and scratches, otherwise intact. Old, ill fitting, custom metal base. |
