Description: |
Carved speckled green and cream color serpentine stone seated figure holding both hands on her enlarged stomach, possibly depicting pregnancy. Small disc type breasts, tapered head with a heavy browline and angular facial features. Upper portion of head cleanly reattached, a small area of surface restoration on her left elbow and buttocks. Custom metal base. A very rare and beautiful example. |
