Description: |
Carved, medium grayish-green stone, standing figure, holding both hands to his stomach, possibly holding a vessel or a torch. Squared shoulders and elbows. Wearing a tightly fitting banded headdress and loin cloth. Strong facial features having wide drilled eyes and a beak-like nose and mouth. Overall scattered areas of surface deposits. Intact, exc. cond. Custom lucite base. A nice example. |
