Description: |
Very large gray-green serpentine stone celt having a tapered body and a curved single edge blade. Overall scattered surface deposits with areas of red-brown cinnabar deposits. Repaired from two large original pieces with restoration over the break line and a very minor ancient blade edge flake, otherwise exc. cond. custom metal base. Rare to find examples this large. A nice example. |
