| Description: |
Large salmon-buff color solid pottery standing figure, wearing knee high leggings, holding both hands to his stomach. Depicted with a long hairdo flowing over his shoulders, expressive facial features, and wearing small disc ear ornaments and shoulder guards. Back is nicely decorated in relief with a scroliate-geometric design, some remaining red pigment highlights. Repaired break through his waist and head reattached, with restoration over the break lines. Custom metal base. Very scarce in this large size. |
