Carved gray stone jugito, ball game implement, ball form ceremonial example, having a basket type handle and overall carved rows of nubby teeth. The form resembles a stylized knee cap or ball joint, having a partially hollowed interior. Some scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Two areas of ancient rim loss, and a few of the teeth have some ancient minor loss, otherwise intact. A very rare and beautiful example. |
