Description: |
Large buff color pottery standing priest figure depicted with a large head and wearing a fancy headdress and ear spools, wide multi-strand necklace and double belted floor length skirt. Arms outstretched and decorated with some black painted bitumen highlights, and some remaining faded red and white stripes on his skirt. Lower portion repaired from approximately twelve large original pieces with break lines visible, right hand restored, some loss to the top left of headdress. A nice, large size example. |
