Description: |
Salmon-buff color pottery figural vessel having a rear spout. Depicting a seated rotund rodent or boar, having a wrinkled face and long tapered snout with a wide toothy mouth, pointed, down turned hog-like ears. Wearing a pendant necklace, hands held in a forward position. Overall scattered surface deposits. Chip on the right hand, and repaired from approximately 25+ original pieces with restoration over the break lines. A very unusual example. |
