Description: |
Fine molded standing deity figure wearing an elaborate multi-figural complex headdress with the head of a deity at the top, flanked with two bird heads. Wearing an ankle length costume with a shell form lower hem border, large beaded necklace with a central pendant. Stepped striated hairdo and small ear discs. A few remaining traces of blue pigment highlights. A few of the headdress point reattached, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A top quality and beautiful example. |
