Carved pinkish-tan hardstone hacha depicting a jaguars head having relief carved large c-shape ears, round recessed eyes with thick brows and a strong jaw line. Overall excellent ancient surface patina. Ancient loss to the lower rear corner and some ancient chips along the top ridge, otherwise intact. A classic type. |
