Description: |
Fine grayware pottery bottle having a tapered long neck with a stylized human head finial depicted with a wide open round mouth, incised and relief facial features and painted pink face. Beautifully incised geometric decoration on the shoulder of the vessel. Repaired from approximately six large original pieces with restoration over the break lines. A rare and elegant type. |
