Description: |
Orangeware pottery male head vessel with relief facial features, head band with incised geometric decoration, and geometric bands down both cheeks and the bridge of the nose. Scattered mineral deposits on the surface. Three rim chips, repaired from approximately six original pieces with restoration over the break lines and two v-shape areas of restoration on the rim, and some additional rim restoration. A scarce type. |
