| Description: |
Blackware pottery vessel with a seated lords head at neck and with headdress atop
globular vessel with two small supplicants laying on the upper body and feline profile heads at base of the spout. The strap handle with ornate chimney stepped fret design. Pedestal base decorated with a stylized relief stepped wave pattern and a lower stepped fret design. A few very minor edge chips, and the right feline head and tip of spout are restored, otherwise intact. A nice example. |
