Fine and large hollow pottery head, originally from a figure depicting a shaman in a state of transformation, having narrow eye upturned at the ends, bow shape mouth with a thick lower lip, wearing a tightly fitted cap with two striated hair tufts. Overall cream slip surface with a few remaining traces of red pigment. Some very minor normal high point wear, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A nice example. |
