Fine gray-green carved serpentine standing figure, holding both hands over his stomach, having angular shoulders and tapered legs. Wearing a wide brimmed cap, and having a tapered head with boldly carved angular facial features. Excellent ancient tan color surface patina. Some erosion loss to the lower rear portion of his right leg, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. A beautiful, high quality example. Old custom metal base. |
