Finely carved deep green serpentine stylized human head maskette, boldly carved facial features, strong browlines, wide nose, high cheeks. Biconical drilled suspension holes on the upper side edges. Excellent ancient surface patina with scattered deposits and encrustation. Shallow ancient chip on the top left edge, otherwise intact, exc. cond. A top quality, beautiful example. |
