Description: |
Exceptional carved deep blue-green serpentine maskette, having beautifully sculpted bold facial features, parted bow shaped lips, baring teeth, drilled and carved recessed eyes with flashy lids and arched brows, well defined nose and pierced lug ears. Deeply carved hollowed reverse. Two drilled suspension holes along the top edge. Excellent ancient surface patina, with scattered deposits in the low areas. Intact, exc. cond. A top quality, excellent example. Old custom base. |
