Description: |
Fine carved black serpentine stone seated figure, holding a ceremonial object with both hands in front of his chest, legs bent at the knees and soles of feet touching together. Dome top head with a drilled recess in the top. well carved facial features, recessed eyes and drilled perforated ear lobes. Overall excellent ancient surface patina, finely incised fingers and toes. Large drilled recess between his legs. Intact, exc. cond. A beautiful example. |
