Description: |
Carved pale green serpentine stone standing figure depicted with a tapered dome head, relief carved facial features and carved recessed eyes with drilled pupils. Holding a ceremonial object with both hands in front of his stomach. Biconical drilled suspension holes in both shoulders. Overall excellent ancient surface patina. Chip on left front foot and a small flake on his right front foot, otherwise intact, overall exc. cond. Mounted on a hardwood base. |
